What is this site all about?

BitchyLife.com is a funny little site lost deep in the online world. It contains true stories of everyday life that can happen to anyone, at any time. These stories, posted by the site's visitors, begin with "Today" and finish with "LIAB", or Life Is A Bitch...proving that you are not the only person to whom shit happens! BitchyLife.com is meant to be enjoyed by everyone everyday!

How does it work?

Very easy. Visitors may add their own stories and post them by clicking the "Submit Yours" link. To be added, your LIAB story must be validated by our team. Our rules are stipulated below. Once online, visitors may vote for their favorite stories in two different ways: "I agree, that sucks!" when they agree that your life was a bitch or "You Deserve It!" if they think you just search for trouble. These two options are the building blocks for the categories: "Top" and "Flop".

Why did my LIAB get denied?

We receive dozens stories each day. We will read and make a decision regarding each story's inclusion to this site. Our decision will be based on the originality and truthfulness of the story (a fake story is not a LIAB), the way it is written, and if the story is humorous. Stories posted multiple times by the same user or obtained from other sites will be rejected.

History

Born in summer 2006, the Bitchylife stories were accumulated in a sub-domain where no interests were placed in the project. It died slowly until we decided to bring it back to life in may 2008 under a brand new domain: bitchylife.com
We hope it will make you laugh, because laughing is the best recipe to a better life, even if she's a bitch sometimes :-)
Since, a lot of other sites have used the same script. We have seen vexboard.com running since July 09, fwhyme.com since April 09(really similar but last post was in June 09), mylifeiscrap.com since November 09 (but links are not working), fmylife.com since January 09 (huge traffic - they're doing well), textsfromlastnight.com since February 09, and even other sites in different countries. We are very pleased that our script has so much success :-)

The Widget

Well, yes, we finally have our own widget.We wanted people to be able to read the Bitchylife event on their own site, without to come and read them on the bitchylife site. It save us some bandwidth :-)
